God loves your uniqueness!

Today’s Scripture

“I care very little if I am judged by you or by any human court; indeed, I do not even judge myself.” (I Corinthians 4:3)

Today’s Word from Joel and Victoria

You are anointed to be the person God has called you to be! The enemy may try to make you think you have to conform to the opinions of others, but if you are secure in who God made you, you can resist those outside demands and pressures that try to mold you into something you’re not. Don’t rely on the opinions and approval of others. Don’t let them steal your unique creativity. God made each of us with a different purpose. As you continue to grow in your relationship with the Lord, through prayer, worship, and fellowship, you will gain confidence in the Lord that will free you from the opinions of man, and allow you to be who God called you to be!

A Prayer for Today

God, I want to live for your approval alone. I need to feel your strength when I feel tempted to change who I am to conform to this world. Please help me to remember that You love me just the way I am! In Jesus’ name - Amen.

Stepping stones take us closer to God

Today’s Scripture

“I will restore the years that the locust has eaten and I will bring you out with plenty and you shall be satisfied.” (Joel 2:25)

Today’s Word from Joel and Victoria

God wants you to live a satisfied life. He has promised to restore all the things that the enemy has stolen. However, just because God gives us this great promise, doesn’t mean it will automatically come to pass. We’ve got to do our part, and develop a restoration mentality. We must expect things to change in our favor. We must be strong-willed and determined, and do everything we can to recover what the enemy has stolen from us. Remember, obstacles are simply opportunities for advancement. If you’ll do your part to have a restoration mentality, God will take every obstacle that comes into your life and turn it into a stepping-stone that will take you to a place of higher honor and greater blessing.

A Prayer for Today

God, help me develop an attitude of hopeful expectancy. I know that You only want the best for me and that sometimes means learning to be strong even through hard times. Regardless of my circumstances, please remind me to be patient and to wait for you to reveal the perfect plan you have for my life. I want to have a “restoration mentality!” In Jesus’ name - Amen.

Today’s Scripture

“Bring forth fruit that is consistent with repentance [let your lives prove your change of heart]” (Matthew 3:8 AMP).

Today’s Word from Joel and Victoria

When you submit your mind and heart to the Lord, your actions will begin to change. You will bring forth fruit that is the character of God. The Bible tells us in Galatians that the fruit of God’s spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. These character traits are proof that God is at work in our lives. Do you have more love than you used to? Are you more at peace than you used to be? Are you more gentle? Self-controlled? That’s because God is at work in your life and it brings Him pleasure when you act more like Him. If you need to grow in any of these areas today, simply open your heart and ask Him to work in your life. He promises that He will complete the good work He’s started in you. Don’t give up! Keep praying, keep believing, keep repenting and submitting your life to Him. You will continue to grow and bring forth His fruit, and you will live in His abundant blessings in every area of life.

A Prayer for Today

Heavenly Father, thank You for working in my life. Thank You for producing good fruit by Your spirit. I submit myself to You today and invite You to continue Your work in me. I bless You and honor You today. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Today’s Scripture

“Repent (think differently; change your mind, regretting your sins and changing your conduct), for the kingdom of heaven is at hand” (Matthew 3:2 AMP).

Today’s Word from Joel and Victoria

Do you have behaviors in your life that you want to stop? Maybe it’s a habit, a bad attitude, or even negative thoughts. No matter what you may want to change in your life, you have to start by changing your mind. You have to change your thinking so that your thoughts are in line with God’s thoughts. When you repent and make a decision to follow God in every area of your life, you open the door for His supernatural power to work. When you take control of your thought life, you are cooperating with that power that is at work in you. Remember, your life will go in the direction of your thoughts. You can’t just allow any old thought or image to play in your mind. You have to choose right thoughts. The easiest way to change your thoughts is by speaking God’s Word. When you say “orange”, you probably won’t start thinking about an apple. In the same way, when you confess the Word of God, which says you are more than a conqueror, it will drive those negative, defeated thoughts away! Change your mind today by changing your words. As you think thoughts of faith and victory, you will move forward into the abundant life He has in store for you!

A Prayer for Today

Heavenly Father, today I choose to take captive every thought that is contrary to Your will. I repent for anything in my life that is displeasing to You. Empower me today by Your spirit so that I can bring honor to You. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

MY DAILY PRAYER
Dear Lord, I thank You for this day. I thank You for my being able to see and to hear this morning. I’m blessed because You are a forgiving God and an understanding God. You have done so much for me and You keep on blessing me. Forgive me this day for everything I have done, said or thought that was not pleasing to you. I ask now for Your forgiveness.
Please keep me safe from all danger and harm. Help me to start this day with a new attitude and plenty of gratitude. Let me make the best of each and every day to clear my mind so that I can hear from You. Please broaden my mind that I can accept all things. Let me not whine and whimper over things I have no control over.
And it’s the best response when I’m pushed beyond my limits. I know that when I can’t pray, You listen to my heart. Continue to use me to do Your will. Continue to bless me that I may be a blessing to others. Keep me strong that I may help the weak. Keep me uplifted that I may have words of encouragement for others. I pray for those that are lost and can’t find their way. I pray for those that are misjudged and misunderstood. I pray for those who don’t know You intimately. I pray for those that will delete this without sharing it with others. I pray for those that don’t believe.
But I thank you that I believe. I believe that God changes people and God changes things. I pray for all my sisters and brothers. For each and every family member in their households. I pray for peace, love and joy in their homes that they are out of debt and all their needs are met. I pray that every eye that reads this knows there is no problem, circumstance, or situation greater than God. Every battle is in Your hands for You to fight. I pray that these words be received into the hearts of every eye that sees it.
IN NOMINI DOMINI NOSTRI HESU KRISTI. Amen.

Today’s Scripture

“God made Him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God” (II Corinthians 5:21 NIV).

Today’s Word from Joel and Victoria

If you’ve accepted Jesus today, you are the righteousness of God! That means you are an extension of His virtue. You are approved by Him. You are in right-standing with Him. Jesus not only paid the punishment for your sins, the Bible says He actually became sin. He took it upon Himself and into His being so that you could take God’s righteousness upon yourself and into your being. It’s the great exchange. Don’t let sin hold you back any longer. Don’t let the enemy lie to you and make you feel guilty and condemned. First John 1:9 says that if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If there is anything in your life that is holding you back today, confess it to God. Let Him cleanse you and make you new. Remember, He paid a precious price so that you could be His righteousness. Let that sink into your heart today. As you meditate on the truth that you are righteous, you’ll begin to change how you think and act. You’ll reflect more of God’s character, and you will move forward into the life of victory that He has in store!

A Prayer for Today

Heavenly Father, thank You for cleansing me and making me new. Thank You for making me Your righteousness. Show me if there is anything in my heart that is displeasing to You. I choose to honor You with my whole being all the days of my life. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
